Universal Screenplay Project Update
As many of you have been asking, here is a quick update on the Universal Screenplay video project. We have also been hard at work on the videos for We Are The Human Race - a 1984 meets V for Vendetta mini epic - and the first part of Spaceship Dream, which involved a lot of other worldly beings in an East London Peanut factory bounding house party style to the 'captured' UJs! We are only just getting over it now, hope all you aliens got back safely to wherever you came from ! Sun-Dance Kids
With the Union Jackals single bundle not out until October, our good friends TenthChapter/Base Mosquito have delivered a stellar remix of I Am The Sun. We loved it so much we are letting them release it in September on the Cablestone Recordings imprint, home to a galaxy of no nonsense quality dance tuneage.
Another version will appear as part of the Union Jackals single bundle out October 18th, featuring the 'Double A Side' Press Reset / I Am The Sun plus four remixes... more news on that next week, for now feed your heads!

Synching Sun
The rather delightful Sony Entertainment Television Africa have chosen I Am The Sun for their brand promo, which will run throughout the summer months across channel 113 on the DSTV platform. Here it is in all its glory!

Universal Screenplay thunders on!
An amazing weekend shooting the video for I Am The Sun was had by all, taking in the serenity of Bewl Waters, the haggard seaside grit of Hastings, the fresh dunes of Camber and the side-streets of old London Town.
John Scott took the tiller for a tale of finding your happy place, with only the aid of a fashioned cardboard box and his avid imagination, ably assisted by new recruit Tomer on cam, and the all-seeing eye Darren Stokes.
With eyes on the ever changing skies, we darted through the rains to - we hope - make a beautiful video for I Am The Sun, with big thanks to our actors and support team, we couldn't have done it without you!

Press Reset preview
We can't let the cat out the bag just yet, but the least we can do is let it poke its furry face out to get a little fresh air.
Huw's a fan
Not a question, but a statement. We think. Huw Stephens played Press Reset on Radio 1 the other week, but unfortunately it slipped past under the Jackal radar until this morning, so it's too late to listen back and find out what he said.
Lovely to see another DJ joining the Jackal Pack!
Live shows confirmed
After taking quite a lot of time out to complete the album we're absolutely gagging to play live again, so you can expect some sparks as we release over a year's worth of pent-up energy at these two dates:
- Saturday 24th July at The Prince Albert, Brighton
- Saturday 7th August at The Wilmington Arms, London

We've just had a lovely e-mail to let us know that Press Reset will be featured in the BBC Introducing / London Calling section on BBC London tomorrow (Saturday) night. Hurrah!
Also, rumour has it that another of our tracks, The Red Channels, might be getting an airing on BBC 6 Music this week. More info on that as and when we have it!

Press Reset: shot!
Sorry, a little late with the updates here as we've been busy working on the Universal Screenplay website.
As you may have guessed from the title, we managed to get all the filming for the Press Reset video completed over the weekend. Most of it on Friday with the last few shots around the city on Saturday morning. Good times!
Just had word from the director, Darren, that he's got the first rough edit together, but it'll go through a few more edits before we're allowed a glimpse. Argh! I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas to arrive. WANT IT NOW!
